And the final piece of my Mega Mega Man Project : Fighting Dr. Wily
Image
See the evolution of this battle of epic proportion as Wily gives it all with his death machine, stays strong as he's uncovered and strikes fear in the heart of his enemies with his deathly stare while in the dark void of space.

The finished project
Image
65448 beads, around 60 hours of work spread through months(That's my lazy ass for ya) 81 boards total; it's finally over....well not totally. I have some foamcore to buy and a small part of the center piece to re-do

I'm glad to see you finally finish those projects. You've been working on those for a long time. They look awesome, expect for the one curved board but you can redo that one.

Well actually at first I wanted to give the same treatment to all of the other 8bit Mega Man games, meaning 7 more of 'em, but I decided that it was enough of the blue bomber for one man and I will NEVER do another Mega Man piece...ever....

On other news, I will fill this container with small bead sprites over the following month

more on that and why after Saturday if all goes well.

Yes, yes clearly I'm stocking up to have items for sale.... what's more important is where I will sell those.

I have one of those containers. I fill it with unsold projects and rejects I can't sell but can put on my own fridge.

Ok so it's confirmed I'll exhibit my crafts at a local geek fest in a little more than a month. I'm super psyched about it as it'll hopefully help in spreading geekery around here, which I figure, at the moment, is somewhat low or in hiding. I'll be framing or mounting lots of my previous pieces and make some more for the event but since I don't sell any of my wares, I decided to sell small bead sprites pins or magnets if I can find a good type of magnetic backing that actually does stick, hence the container which I'll work arduously to fill as much as I can.

Even better, I talked to a store owner and I may be able to do some consignment selling. That store sells quirky stuff so it's sure to attract customers.

High five, internet folk.

If you need any help let me know. I'm going on a solid year of selling at conventions so hopefully I've learned a tip or two by now.

Well that's easy; what sells most, how much do you sell them, where can I get some magnet backing that doesn't suck.

And I won't be posting the pins I make every single day instead I'll post how far along I am in a week or two.

In other news :

I back my small magnet stuff with craft foam first and then I use e6000 to attach a ceramic magnet. they are pretty strong and will hold up a few papers. i dont use the neo magnets because they are so strong that it puts a lot of stress on the sprite when you move it around on the surface. magnetic tape does suck though -- i wouldnt use that.
