I've fiddled with purple a bit. I usually use purple, raspberry, plum, and lavender for the gradient and its been pretty good, but not as smooth as other colors.

Yeah, I've done some with the raspberry and plum, but they were just way too dark for this. It's still a good bit darker than the original sprite art, imho.

Just now finished this little guy. :D My husband's character, the Admiral Jordanis Jackal, done as a bead sprite. I used the wolf head from the charas generator, but the rest of it is original. :)

Here's a few more recent sprites.

First, another gift, this one to a mutual friend of my husband's:

(Also based loosely on the charas generator sprites.)

Then, a mini Leafeon, for a trade:

And a mini flareon, just for fun:

Yet another pony. Making the bees was interesting, since this was a custom character, so I had no existing tiny bee sprite to start from. I think I did okay, though honestly nothing that small is going to be quite perfect. :P

Finished another quick one this evening. An eletrike. I'd never heard of it before I was commissioned to make it, but apparently it's a pokemon.

I'm pretty pleased with them myself. :D

Tonight I made a leafeon. Just one more eevee evolution left and I'll have made them all!

Finished Jolteon! And it's a good thing too, since two of the Eevee evolutions are going in the mail to people tomorrow! But I had just enough time today to get a couple of good photos. :grinbig:

You know I actually have no idea what game this is from. A friend suggested it, and now I can't remember... but I liked the sprite, so I made it. This is the thumbnail version, the full size would be like two feet tall.

Image

But what is this touching the wing? It appears to be a paw!

Image

It is a paw! An adorable kitty paw! My cat naps on the fur tub there all the time. It occasionally makes working on my little workspace rather interesting. He hasn't knocked over a sprite in progress yet, but I expect eventually he will.

This.

It will happen, I made the mistake of leaving an unironed sprite where my cat could jump on it. She did and launched half of a 2ft wide sprite :displeased:

After fixing it I somehow managed to drop the same section again  I nearly gave up on that one
